Krannert School of Management

Assistant Director of Recruiting, MBA and MS Programs – Dec. 2016 - present

  • Lead recruitment efforts for Full-Time MBA, MS Marketing, and MS Global Supply Chain Management programs

  • Advise prospective applicants on best practices for MBA and MS applications

  • Staff on-campus, regional, and national MBA fairs, events, and information sessions

  • Plan all on-campus events for prospective students, including Diversity Days, Women’s Weekend, and Admit Weekend

  • Coordinate and maintain on-campus partnerships for 19 combined degree BS+MBA and MS+MBA academic programs

  • Assist with presenting and facilitating content and activities for Fall student orientation

  • Preside over recruitment of underrepresented MBA students, specifically with MLT, NBMBAA, ROMBA, and Prospanica

  • Serve as staff advisor for the KrannertOut organization for LGBTQ students and allies in the Krannert community

  • Supervise 5 student graduate assistants who contribute to recruitment efforts

  • Forecast and report anticipated applications and acceptance of admission offers for MBA and MS programs

  • Volunteer as a member of Krannert’s Safety Committee for physical facilities

 

Department of Computer Science

Administrator of Undergraduate Programs and Services – Jan. 2015 - present

  • Coordinated two-week summer Bridge program for 60-70 incoming Computer Science students

  • Coordinated Fall Computer Science Learning Community of 24-30 first-semester students

  • Taught Computer Science First-Year Resource Seminar (CS 19100) in Fall semester

  • Coordinated, chaperoned, and assessed computer science service-learning project in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania (2016)

  • Facilitated on-campus recruitment efforts and met with prospective Computer Science undergraduate students

  • Created and facilitated Peer-to-Peer undergraduate mentor program for first-year students

  • Acted as liaison between the CS undergraduate curriculum committee and academic advising staff

  • Served as part-time (25%) academic advisor to undergraduate CS students

  • Received Undergraduate Advising Award for the College of science in 2014-15, and Leadership Award in 2015-16

  • Created new undergraduate recruitment brochure
